Parent Education Series: Promoting Peer Social Competance

A seminar specific to parents with preschoolers. Learn the importance of this key developmental skill, how its connected to emotional self-regulation and school readiness, and how you can support your preschooler to initiate and maintain friendships
Christopher has an MA in Counselling Psychology and has been working with children, youth and families for over 30 years. He currently is the Clinical Director of Hollyburn Family Services in North Vancouver, teaches Family Systems Counselling at City University, and provides counselling services to couples and families. Christopher is a parent to 2 adult children who continue to educate him everyday.
The presentation is from 7:15pm-8:45pm and the preschool meeting follows for parents of the preschool.
